Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Movement)

      Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Movement) is a campaign launched by Indian government to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of cities and towns.
 This was launched on 2nd of October in 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi with the slogan, Ek Kadam Swachhta ki or (One Step Towards Cleanliness)". Its objective is to reduce or eliminate open defecation by constructing millions of toilets. It is aimed to achieve open defecation free (ODF) India by 2 October, 2019, on the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This national campaign covers 4041 statury cities and towns of India.

Cleanest Cities Of India
          In year 2016, 73 cities were taken under observation and the ranking of them according to their cleanliness was announced on 15 February, 2016.

4.New Delhi
5.Vishakhapattanam (Andhra Pradesh)
6.Surat (Gujrat)
